Sheyna: General Manager & Instructor

General manager of all things Simply Circus!

Aerial hoop instructor.

Graduate student at Lesley for Expressive Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. 

Trainings and certifications: New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) safe aerial spotting and teacher certification. CPR and first aid.

Charlotte: instructor & performer

Graduate from Northeastern University with a degree in International business.

Trained by Daniel and Martine Vatan at "Aux Agres Du Vent", France and at the The Muse in Brooklyn, NYC. Specialties: Aerial silks, corde lisse (aerial rope) and duo trapeze.

She trained and coached at Simply Circus for 3 years.

Performance experience: Circus Maine cabarets, Simply Circus Showcases, Circus Up, numerous charities, and circus tent shows around the world. 

 

Caroline: instructor & acrobat @ circus circus

Caroline competed on Americas Got Talent in 2018 and is currently a performer for Circus Circus in Reno. She specializes in handstands, contortion, and aerial hoop. She is also a former gymnast, costume designer and seamstress, make-up artist, and has a hidden musical talent. Is there anything this girl doesn't look beautiful doing? No. No, there's not.

Molly: Instructor & performer

Graduated from Boston University

An accomplished aerial performer on trapeze, aerial fabric, aerial hoop, aerial straps choreographer, and costume designer. She has performed at Royal, and Coppersmith in Boston.

Josephine: Instructor & performer

Pro-track for German Wheel, Aerial Hoop, Duo Trapeze, Tippy Lyra

Safety training: CPR, first aid, aerial rescue, aerial rigging, concussion training, and mat fall training.

Safe spotting certifications: fire safety for fire spinning events, aerial arts, slits walking, tight-wire, slack wire, wall dancing, german wheel, unicycle, rolla-bola, rolling barrels, rolling globes, tumbling, mini-trampoline and trampoline. 

She has gained early acceptance for the Simmons College neuroscience program, and I'm probably leaving a dozen other things out. She's basically our Circus mom and we strive to be as strong as her!

Meet our Strong Man!

Keegan: Instructor and Performer

Keegan Coppola is a dancer and aerialist from Los Angeles, CA. She is a freshman at Boston College, on the dance team there, and on Simply staff. Keegan teaches a weekly fabrics class, after 4 years of general aerial training. Today, she specializes in silks.  She is also trained in countless other acts, including dance, tumbling, contortion, and aerial hard apparatus. She has been performing for years, and currently trains at Simply to enhance her resume. For any inquiries please contact

Angela: instructor

Graduate of Boston University

Meet Angela, (the upside-down one). Fitness instructor and personal trainer all the way from LA to Dubai and now here in Boston. We are lucky to have such an accomplished flexibility and fitness drill Sargent among us. Don't be afraid, she's actually very sweet, but she will sit on you and make you bendy. You’re welcome.

Shaina: afterschool Instructor & performer

Performance experience: includes 2 Boston Celtics pre-game shows, the Boston Pride parade, the Nutcracker, and hoop event Synesthesia. She has participated in numerous fundraisers and church jamborees offering balloon animals and face painting to the kids. She has trained for over 10 years in tap, modern dance, ballet, hip hop, point, and cheerleading. 

Graduated from aesthetics school in 2017, and is currently a part-time make-up artist in Boston.

Emma: Instructor & youth leader &performer

Trainings and certifications: CPR, first aid, aerial rescue, mat falling. 

Aerial Sling, General Circus coach and costume seamstress extraordinaire! She's such a great addition to our teaching staff, we can't wait to see what else she will accomplish outside of circus.

Kelly : Instructor & performer

Kelly fell in love with aerial fabrics after taking just a few classes. After a few years of trying different apparatuses, she began teaching fabrics, mixed aerials, and general circus classes.

She has experience with ambient performances on aerial fabrics, aerial cube, and tightwire.

Kelly’s certifications include aerial rescue, aerial spotting, first aid & CPR.
